Unless you are an existing forum, it seems to be impossible to attract people to a forum. The only attention my forums are getting are from Chinese and eastern European spammers. And that’s attention I don’t want.

Perhaps it’s due to the proliferation of things like Facebook and Twitter. I don’t know. I do know I am tired of having to delete spam registrations on the boards. So this coming weekend I will be removing the forums from my site.

I am working on adding a miscellaneous section where I will move the Quote of the Day, and add a weekly crossword puzzle. I have no estimate on when I will implement that. Let’s just say it’s coming.

I admit it, I focus too much on live action, which has caused animated to slide into the background.

I am working to remedy that. Over the weekend I updated the list for shows that premiered in 2010, and are scheduled to premier in 2011 and 2012. So now you will see the list includes Young Justice, Generator Rex, Sym-Bionic Titan and many others.

The updating is complete yet, but once I get up to date, I will try to keep up to date.

Several genre concepts have already been green-lighted, and are in the casting phase. Others are due get the order by the end of the month.

Over the next few weeks I am going to try and accumulate what information is out there on these projects, so we can have an idea of what could be ahead.

Projects that have a pilot or are being produced are:

Three Inches (Syfy)
Locke & Key (Fox)
Alcatraz (Fox)
Nine Lives (ABC)
Alabama (FX)

I will post more as I learn more.

It looks campy. People can’t take the lead character seriously. It’s not going to get renewed.

I have to say it looks fun. And above all else, people running around in colorful costumes should be fun. Maybe I’m tainted by growing up and enjoying Adam West’s “Batman” and Lynda Carter’s “Wonder Woman,” but those were fun shows.

And I’m getting those same vibes from “The Cape.” I’m jumping on the bandwagon right from the start.

Since Syfy has aired the last episodes of “Caprica,” the show now moves to the archive list.

Since new episodes of “Primeval” are now airing on BBC America, the show has moved off the archive, and back to the current list.

“The Cape” is moving off the upcoming list and onto the current list, seeing as it’s premier is scheduled to air on January 9th.

And I am adding the following series to the upcoming list, seeing as they have all been confirmed in the press as being picked up.
